Jason Turner is the Chief Investment Strategist of Great Lakes Advisors. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee, authors market and economic commentary, regularly presents in the media and to professional conferences, and works with client portfolio managers to support institutional and private clients. As the Head of Multi-Asset Strategy, he is responsible for portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and for overseeing the firm’s manager due diligence and selection efforts. He is also a member of the firm’s Operating Committee and Management Committee.
Prior to joining Great Lakes in 2009, Jason served in various roles for Skyline Asset Management and Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting.

William J. Tarnow II is chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group and represents and counsels companies and management in all facets of business and employment law and employment-related litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
Bill has litigated a variety of disputes, ranging from trade secret, breach of fiduciary duty, restrictive covenants and breach of contract disputes, to claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation under various statutes such as Title VII, the ADA and the ADEA in venues around the country. Bill also has defended a number of employers in both single-plaintiff and class action cases involving wage and hour / overtime pay claims under both state and federal laws.
Bill regularly makes presentations on a variety of employment law issues, both to individual employers directly and to large groups in seminar settings. He serves as a speaker in the PLI Employment Law Program on topics such as whistleblowing and retaliation lawsuits. Bill regularly publishes articles and presents seminars and training on a variety of employment issues, and he has been contributing author to multiple Illinois editions of The Law Guide.

Mary Ann McLaughlin serves as a Managing Partner and co-owner of Butler Street. Prior to Butler Street, Mary Ann served in senior executive roles for fifteen years including Chief Operating Officer, President and Managing Director in the staffing, revenue cycle and print industries. As a Six Sigma Champion certified executive, Mary Ann leverages her robust process background with thirty-three years of sales and operational leadership experience to help companies achieve lasting results. She currently serves as a volunteer on the American Staffing Association’s Women in Leadership Council and a board advisor for the George Washington School of Business; Women in Leadership.
Additionally, Mary Ann is a member of the regional Ascension Health Development Board. She has completed four marathons and several triathlons. She holds a B.S. Degree in Marketing from Bradley University.

Dr. Rachel Sederberg is a Research Manager on the Applied Research Team at Emsi Burning Glass where she examines the labor market impact of emerging technologies such as green jobs, data privacy, automation, telemedicine, human capital management, and disruptive skills amongst others.
In addition to her work at Lightcast, Dr. Sederberg continues to publish academic research on labor economics and emerging technologies. Dr. Sederberg holds both a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Economics from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Stonehill College. Prior to joining Burning Glass Technologies in 2020, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME for the 2019-2020 academic year. Dr. Sederberg’s labor economics research interests include understanding the experiences and impacts of those who are on the margins of the labor force, financial literacy and capability of young adults, the financial preparedness and behavior of the unemployed, mismatch unemployment, and how to better target unemployment insurance benefits. She has published in peer-reviewed publications including Economics Letters, The Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences, and the Journal of Consumer Affairs.
